Supporting Prisoners

We collaborated with Nejma Collective to provide Eid cards to Muslims in prison. Muslims in prison are part of our communities, and we feel we have a responsibility to reach all Muslims and ensure they feel love and belonging at celebratory time like Eid.

About the project

Starting point

Engaging with the Nejma Collective team, we decided to collaborate and leverage the community links that the Gift Eid Project team has.

Support from local communities

Knowing the main barriers were awareness, Gift Eid Project identified local community youth groups and mosques to participate in designing, and writing Eid cards.

End result

Collectively, we sent over 200 cards to our Muslim brothers and sisters in prison.
